How to care for your cuff

With frequent wear, the black in the lettering may fade. To refresh, simply use sharpie and wipe off any excess quickly. If the sharpie dries too fast, no fear, put a little rubbing alcohol (or hairspray in a pinch) on a q-tip to remove the extra.

Aluminum will not tarnish, brass and copper will develop a patina over time. Some people experience "greening" where the skin underneath the metal turns green. This is a totally normal reaction with raw copper and non-toxic. Many of our customers use the greening as a kind of reminder to drink more water as the acidity of your skin is related to your hydration. Avoid exposure to water. To polish you can use a jewelry cloth. You can also use a small amount of ketchup to remove the patina, simply rinse, wipe clean and dry thoroughly.
