These are natural pearls. Be mindful of soaps, lotions, or fragrances that come into contact with them as they can begin to remove the shiny outer nacre layer.
Sterling silver can oxidize (darken) over time. Constant wear helps prevent this. As does keeping it dry. A polishing cloth will be included in your package to use if needed.
